Interactive TV Design maxdome

The client:

maxdome GmbH, Munich – a company of Pro7Sat1 AG

The challenge:

How to succeed as number three in a challenging video streaming market with two all mighty competitors? 

We have been ordered to find alternative ways to make a difference and to convince the audience that maxdome is the right choice for them.

The role:

We where part of the team as UX-perts for the Smart TV section. We came up with new ideas, fresh impulses and concepts. We did wireframes and prototypes, supported user tests and tried out several new, never seen ways to present streaming video content.

Our work:

We created a couple of concepts and screens for HbbTV and Smart TV Apps.

We helped to make the dream of a Trailer-Zapper become true, designed some attractive landing pages for TV spots and have been part of the huge re-design for the whole service.

We tried out a complete new experience, video-centric and based on a zapping exploration concept.

Again, we where seeking for an authentic, individual way for our customer to make a difference.

On our journey, we used a lot of high-end, interactive prototypes, to get customer insights.
